Lake at Walnut Condos Close to Gold Line Station in Pasadena

A rendering of Lake@Walnut from their website

The eponymous Lake at Walnut, a 6-story mixed-use project in Pasadena, recently received their white papers and is now in escrow with buyers. This development by Standard Pacific Homes has some really great floor plans for those searching for traditional condominium layouts (one of my buyers will be entering escrow soon here) and also well-appointed, beautiful kitchens including Kitchen Aid appliances and granite counter tops. The exterior of the building may look a bit modest, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find out how well-designed the interior spaces are including the common areas like the courtyard and recreational room.

In addition to great layouts, the building is also in an amazing location being so close to the Lake Ave Gold Line Station (currently going through a major aesthetic upgrade enhancement), which allows residents access to the expanding Los Angeles metro system. Not only that, but it’s across the street from a Ralphs grocery store as well as being minutes away from South Lake Avenue’s shopping and dining.

  1. Wow, Brigham, I was just driving by there yesterday and wondering about it. It looks finished. I didn’t know if any had been sold yet. I wondered what they looked like inside. And tada! Here it is on your blog this morning. Thank you!

I hope some interesting retail goes in at street level, too! I frequently walk to Ralph’s, so it would be nice to have more shops on that corner.
