CREPEstudio Now Open in Pasadena ($2 Off for My Blog Readers*)

A sweet and tasty traditional Parisian style crepe at the newly open CREPEstudio in Old Pasadena located at 99 E Union Street

CREPEstudio officially opened this past weekend and has already caught on with the locals as I encountered a pretty packed house on a Monday night, which is usually the quietest night of the week for most restaurants.

This new restaurant, serving savory and dessert crepes, is located on a nice quiet block on Union Street just one block north of all the hustle and bustle of Colorado Blvd but also only one block south of the Memorial Park Gold Line station, which I anticipate will get busier and busier with more foot traffic as more rail lines are added to LA in the near future.

The approximately 800 square feet space, which used to be a car model shop, has been transformed into a cozy restaurant that I found to be a refreshing addition for Pasadena locals like myself who always welcome that next casual neighborhood spot–especially in Old Pasadena.

I had ordered a strawberry dessert crepe with Nutella that came out perfectly wrapped in the traditional Parisian style. The strawberries were sweet and the Nutella was rich. A great local spot with a welcoming casual ambiance and delicious crepes galore–need I say more?

*As a special discount to my blog readers, mention “Brigham Yen’s Blog” and receive $2 off any savory or dessert crepe until November 15, 2010!

I really liked the crepes they served. I love that they wrap them instead of fold them. It reminded me of the better crepes I had in France.

  3. Ah I just love the photos you have on here!….

Looks very nice to come visit some time. Makes me want to pack and go see nice places like this.
